A roman day of discovery and delight

Day three in Rome was a vibrant tapestry of walking, learning, and tasting. From ancient basilicas to hands-on culinary adventures and an unforgettable evening exploring Trastevere's flavors, every step was an immersion into the heart of Italy.

Stepping through history's hallowed halls

Our morning began with an exhilarating pace of 'walking, walking, walking'! We embarked on an informative tour that led us through captivating streets and past awe-inspiring sights. The highlight was undoubtedly our visit to the magnificent Basilica of Saint Marie, a truly awesome experience that blended rich history with breathtaking architecture. These informative tours are exactly why we love exploring Rome.

The art of italian pasta: a hands-on lesson

Later in the day, our Roman adventure took a delicious turn as we participated in a fantastic cooking class. This was a truly immersive experience where we learned the intricate art of Italian cuisine. I especially enjoyed learning to curve the pasta in a stick – a skill I can now proudly say I possess! The instruction was excellent, culminating in an equally excellent lunch that we savored with delight.

Trastevere by night: a culinary journey

As evening descended, my friends and I had a special treat planned: a dinner walking tour of Trastevere during our free time. This was, without a doubt, the most exciting and unforgettable moment of Day 3. The district buzzed with energy, offering so many stops and different foods to sample. The wine flowed freely, complementing every bite. We took a moment to rest and soak in the atmosphere in the beautiful Piazza di Santa Marie before grabbing a cab back to Hotel Lancelot after a truly late and wonderful night. If you're planning your own Day 3 in Rome, remember to embrace every moment and prepare for an unforgettable adventure!
